Our child masks are reversible, so you can wear them on both sides, which are of different colors (By clicking on one of the color choice square below, you will see the image in the big square in the upper left and below this square, there will be other squares that will show you the other side of the mask and the flattened mask).
Our masks are made in our workshop of St-Sévère in Mauricie with cotton or polycotton new fabric scraps. They are also equipped with a pocket to put a filter if you want. It was proven that a third fabric layer would not really rise the efficiency of the mask, but people who want an additionnal protection could add some filters between the two fabric layers.
There is a rigid band in the upper part of the mask to shape perfectly on the nose and it can easily be installed with the 2 stretch bands we fix on the ears or on the buttons of our specially made headbands. The handcrafted fabric maks must not be wore for more than 4 hours, so if you plan to wear a mask all day long, you'll have to prepare 2 or even 3 mask a day.
Because we care about the actual situation and we give our best thoughts to the families who are struggling to feed them, we decided to give 1$ for every mask sold to the Breakfast Club of Canada.

Both of the federal and provincial governments have said that wearing a handcraft mask can protect people around the person who is wearing it. That means that for an infected person of the COVID-19 virus who doesn't show any symptom, wearing a fabric mask could prevent surrounding people from being contaminated by flying small drops of fluid. After many rigorous reading on the subject, we came with the elaboration of our own handcrafted masks. This mask will never replace the usual procedures of washing hands frequently and social distancing (keep 2 meters of distance between individuals). It's absolutely not comparable to an approved mask. The main advice is to stay home, but when it's essential to get out of home, its effect, combined to the hygiene measures issued by the governments, can contribute to slow the virus spread. It's easy and comfortable to breath when you wear them and are perfect for women and men. It's better to put it in place or take it off by using the rubber bands, touching the fabric as less as possible. Before you put the mask on, you must wash your hands thoroughly with water and soap for at least 20 seconds. Then, take the two rubber bands and fix them behind the ears or on the buttons of your headband, push on the rigid stick on each side of the nose and gently pull the bottom of the mask to completely cover your chin. To take the mask off, simply use the 2 rubber bands. Right after the mask is took off, you have to put it right away in a bag to wash it immediately, to prevent the contamination of the surfaces. After that, be sure to completely wash your hands. You should wash your mask with hot water, at least of 60°C with soft soap and after that, being dried immediately and completely before wearing it again. It is mandatory to wash the mask before wearing if for the fist time. Its use should not be banalised. It's very important to follow the use and care instructions and keep in mind that the hygiene measures and social distancing are essential. According to the Canada's government, handcrafted masks are not medical instruments and then, not regulated as medical masks.
